The boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed last evening in the Delaware County Meet.  Makayla Johnson made All-County by getting 7th place in the meet with a time of 23:34.  She and another runner ran the last 2 miles together neck and neck and Johnson sprinted past her in the end to take the number 7 spot.  Makayla Blackmer got 19th overall earning a ribbon with a time of 27:03 and Carly Malchow also got a ribbon finishing 24th with a season best time of 28:45.  Megan Neal was coming off about a two week stint with no running due to injury and she finished in 29:38. In the boys’ race, all three Wes-Del boys had a season best time.  Chris Dillon finished in 22:57, Brayden Scott in 27:03, and Traister Oglesbee in 27:42.  The cross country team competes this Saturday at the Blackford Invitational.
