Meet Recap

Daleville (78 points) won a triangular against Alexandria (51) and Wes-Del (18) in boys track and field competition Monday. Jakob Stephenson won the 400 and Samson Waters won the 300 Hurdles for the Warriors. Also, placing for Wes-Del were Jacob Redwine (4×100 and Long Jump), Garrison Puckett (high jump), Parker Harris (4×100), and Hunter Martin (4×100). Waters added a 2nd place finish in the 110 hurdles.

The Wes-Del Girls (65 points) won a triangular against Daleville (53) and Alexandria (28). The Warriors’ Perrie Smalley won the 100, 200 and long jump, and teammate Dalani Young won both hurdles events. Abbie Rooker won the high jump. Kyleigh Blackmer (400 and 3200), Makayla Blackmer (100H. 300H, 3200), Kenzie Lawrence (High Jump and Relays), Alyssa Torbush (200), Natalie Grider (100 and Relays), Marlena Cox (400 and Relays), Makayla Johnson (800, 1600, Relays), and Robin Whitesel (Discus) all added points for the Warriors.

Both teams will be in action at home on Tuesday, April 14.
