The 4×800 Meter Relay team of Raastad, K. Blackmer, Cox, and Torbush started off the night with a second place finish and a time of 13:41. Young managed a 19.4 in a tough 100 Hurdles. Up next came Smalley to claim second place in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.6 and Grider claimed fourth with a time of 14.3. The next event was the 1600 Meter Run which Johnson placed fourth in while running a time of 6:20. The 400 Meter Relay team consisting of Grider, Lawrence, Rooker, and Smalley was able to take second with a time of 56.2 in the event. K. Blackmer ran a 1:12 in the 400 Meter Dash to earn a third place finish while Cox closely followed with a 1:14 to take fourth place. Young took fourth place in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 59.0. Johnson and Hale took third and fourth in the 800 Meter Run with times of 2:53 and 3:08. The next event was the 200 Meter Dash where Smalley claimed second with a time of 28.0 and Berry took fourth with a 30.4. Up next came K. Blackmer with a time of 13:53 which earned her a third place finish. To tie up the meet the 4×400 Meter Relay Team ran a time of 5:05 with a team that consisted of Lawrence, Cox, Johnson, and Rooker. â¨During this time the field events were underway. Whitesel and Benn claimed third and fourth in Discuss with throws of 70′ 3″ and 51′ 6″. Benn also earned a third place finish in Shot where she threw a 23′ 11″. In Long Jump Smalley placed third with a jump of 15′ 4 1/2″ while Berry placed third with a jump of 14′ 6″. Berry also earned first in High Jump with a height of 4′ 9″ and Rooker took second with 4′ 8″.
Samson Waters lead the boys by winning the long jump (19â 2.5â) and finishing second in both hurdle events. Jake Stephenson finished 2nd in the 400, and Garrison Puckett finished 2nd in the high jump. The 400m relay team of Redwine, Stephenson, Martin, and Waters finished with a time of 48.7, good enough for a 2nd place finish behind a very strong Lapel squad. Miciah Ball (hurdles), Isaac McGarvey (200), Jacob Newsome (shot and discus), and Derek Losh (discus) also placed for the Warriors.
