Warriors News · Kyle Dosch Earns All State Honorable Mention

Kyle Dosch was voted to the Indiana 2017 1A All-State defensive team honorable mention. Kyle has played a big role in helping the Wes-Del football program experience success that had not been accomplished in the current player’s lifetimes. He was part of the first winning season since 1993 and the first post-season win since 1998. The team success helped Wes-Del get recognized for individual honors.

Kyle finished 9th All-time in career tackles with 210.5 total tackles with 5 fumble recoveries 1 for a touchdown. Kyle broke three All-Time Records for tackles for loss (TFLs) and sacks in a game, season, and career. Kyle broke the previous game record of 8 set in 1974 by getting a combined 10 TFLs and sacks in one game. Kyle broke the previous season record of 29 set in 1974 by getting a combined 38.5 total TFLs and sacks in one season. Kyle now ranks 1st All-Time in Wes-Del history with 50 TFLs and 30.5 sacks for a total of 80.5 career mark.

Kyle continues to push his younger teammates in the weight room. He knows that his success came from hard work and determination. He challenges the young guys to be better than him and continue improving both themselves and the Wes-Del football program. Kyle reminds all of them to “Trust the Process” and do the hard work that it takes to be great! He expects all of them to experience even more success than he did throughout his career. We are very proud of Kyle’s achievements both on and off the field. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that Kyle makes on the world after leaving Wes-Del.
