On Saturday, October 11, the girls’ and boys’ cross country teams competed in the sectional at the Muncie Sportsplex. In the girls race, Wes-Del had two girls qualify for regionals. The Middle School Cross Country Team finished up their season last night at the County Meet. This meet was held on the always tough course at Selma Middle School. The girls’ and boys’ cross country team competed in the MEC on Tuesday evening. In the girls’ race, Wes-Del had two All Conference runners. Makayla Johnson finished in 7th place, and Kyleigh Blackmer finished in 12th place in only her second meet of the season. The teams compete this Saturday at sectionals at the Muncie
The Delta Invitational was a good meet for most of the cross country team members on Saturday. Makayla Johnson led the Warriors with a time of 23.29 and finished 31 overall.
