The boys track team made a strong showing in the their second track meet in as many days by defeating Lapel and Liberty Christian. Junior Bill Pittsford was a multiple winner for the Warriors. Pittsford ran away with the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Senior Casey Johnson also won two individual events. Johnson was first place in the shot put and discus competitions. Other first place finishers included Tanner Wilson (110 Hurdles) and Rodney Reid (high jump.) Pittsford was second and Reid third in the long jump. Chevy Bullock finished second in the high jump. Levi Bothel had a good throw in the discus. His effort was good enough for a second place finish. Strong efforts were recorded in the relays. The 3200 meter relay team of Preston Heffernan, Ben Stoughton, Chandler Cook, and Michael Reed placed second, as did the 1600 meter relay team of Johnson, Bullock, Luke Butler, and Joel Dowling. The 400 meter relay team won their race. That team consisted of Johnson, Dowling, Pittsford, and Levi Stewart. Other individuals placing in the top four for the Warriors included; Tanner McCord (110H and 400m), Luke Butler (1600m, 800m), Cook (400m), Bothel (shot put), Reid and Wilson (300H), Stewart (200m), and Stoughton (3200m).
