The girls varsity track recorded their second sweep in as many meets in a three team meet at Daleville Thursday. Allison Wylie was first in the 100 meter hurdle event. Jackie Knott won the 1600 meter race. Natalie Richards was first place in the 400 meter dash. The field events were a bright spot for the Warriors as Aubrey Whitesell won the shot put and Emily Mills won the Discus. Knott and Richards teamed up with Kamryn McGlothin and Kylie Antrim to win the 1600 meter relay. Antrim was second in the long jump and high jump. Knot was runner up in the 800 meter race. Wylie also earned a red ribbon in the 300 meter hurdles. Richards was runner-up in the 200 and Kyann Newsome finished second in the discus throw. The 4X800 meter relay team of Destiny Smith, Alyssa Stoughton, Samara Smith, and Andrea Stoughton and the 4×100 realy team of Wylie, Antrim, Reece Malchow, and Grace Bond rounded out the second place finishers. Other athletes scoring team points for the Warriors were Malchow (100m), Kristen King (100H), Newsome (Shot), Jalynn Gann (long jump), Alyssa Stoughton (3200m), Kim Losh (200m), and Grace Bond (100m).
